Sidenote: I'm demoralised. Apart from 6jk05 chalet being scraped, Jaryl has to be oversea for all times, during 205 chalet. Now the down sides of attending 205 chalet seems to override the ups, partly due to quintuple axes.

I'm so envious after reading Mariel's post on OBS! At least her group bonded well, and some other groups will probably have outings and things like that. Apparently mine didn't, but I guess I made some new close friends, mainly Weining TaiYu Winston. ^^

And I was miserably tired today, because I stayed up till 3am+ for the super duper long OBS post. And I only woke up at 3:30pm odd, its a new record...

Oh and I was like, laughing and laughing at Cheryl's post until my dad came over and ask, "Very funny meh? Laugh until like that."

Going to play neopets now. MARIEL GO COLLECT AVATARS, FUN FUN. :D

I only found out that tomorrow's Monday, like half hour back. Which is really slow of me, cause I thought today was Sat. Maybe that's the problem about sleeping way past breakfast. And I was like, "darn!", cause I initially planned to go out shopping tomorrow for earrings and hairbands haha. And I wanted to paint my nails as well. .__. Well, yay, at least I'll be seeing WhaiPeng for brunch tmr.

And I read the email Mr. Chia sent, apparently there were rehearsals last week, but 6/8 of us in the gowns and logistics were in OBS..! And I was actually worried about missing out things. o__O"

Btw, does anyone want a Christmas Party? :D Anyone's condo's function room which I can book? I've been dying to eat the Christmas Log cake thing since I was a kid.

OBS POST.

Okay, I'm going to get started to post about OBS! :D Although I don't really remember everything.. so yep.

Sidenote: Whenever I use the word "bitching" in whatever way I put in this post's text, it wasn't really bitching because it's more complaining of what others did or didn't do and we were unhappy by it. E.g. "Did you see N being extremely helpful by standing there like a rock and folding her arms while others were pitching their tents" instead of "N is such a f*ing slut/bitch, she looks ugly.". But it doesn't fit the term "talk", "gossipping" or "chatting", while "complaining" doesn't seem suitable, so "bitching"'s the next best. Otherwise I don't really bitch.

Anyway, it turned out that OBS wasn't that fun for the second batch. At least I know Elizabeth Choy, Washington, and Sui Sen didn't. As in it was fun to a certain extend, but we were looking forward to going home by the last day and we didn't really have the "I MISS OBS!" feeling. Maybe I just missed chatting and sleeping over with all my friends:D. In any case, one excellent thing about OBS is you'll get to see all the different sides of people, all the goods and the bads. Oh, and, I have absolutely no sunburns:D and neither did I get tanned! Cause I'm one of those who applied sunblock once every two to three hours with my hat on all day. Yay.

Part One:
Things we did in OBS, without the bitching.
PS. For those in Group 3 who doesn't like spoilers, maybe you'll want to skip this part:D.

Day One
Watch members: Stella, Weining, Jerdine, TPL, TaiYu, JiaYi, Nelson, Tricia, Xuanji, Bingjie, Heidi, Winston.
Personally I felt a little awkward initially: Although there wasn't anyone I particularly disliked, there wasn't anyone I was exceptionally close to either... (because I really, really wanted to be at least in the same group with Jaryl/ Cheryl/ WhaiPeng, though I would be quite happy too if it's with Mariel/ Hanisah) ...continued from previous: except Tricia and partly Heidi. So although I was a little upset initially I stopped being so after spotting a particular somone who was in Elizabeth Choy. Poor Cheryl. So I ended up feeling too neutral: not happy, not unhappy. .__. At least they were all nice people in the watch(:

Instructor: Female, Boo Yanleng/ Yanling, she wanted us to call her Boo?
I'm so sorry, but our watch disliked her. Apart from being over-strict by lecturing the guys about being disrespectful when they cracked some really simple jokes, she didn't care about our watch and made us do boring things, like sitting on the same spot for an hour trying to get us to speak (Ironically its also quite funny, cause she kept on talking and we were all literally dozing off and closing our eyes and ignoring her. On the good side, she's extremely patient.). Hence for the first few days our group was just wondering about the entire camp area (without any specific instructions), lost, as though we were on a chalet while we watch others to having fun kayaking or other stuffs. .__. Not a very nice topic, we move on.

Monday's IC: TPL!
Split out the food (hahaha there was alot. I wished they gave more though. Yummy.) played some boring ice breakers, (and being reminded about this after reading Tric's blog,) I kind of complained about their fish. Actually, I criticize the food sometimes because I've tasted better, but I'm not very picky about the food in the way that I'll still eat them no matter how they taste. Other activities we had that day was trust fall, and belaying practice. :) Dinner was fine except that I got super irritated and bloody pissed x10 by Hansiang, and I learnt the differences between cooking rice outdoors and in a cooking pot. You need a lot more water. Had fire drill too, but Weining Tricia Heidi and I completely ponned it since we were bathing. -_-

After packing for the 3d2n expendition, we went back to the campsite. Weining and I went to sleep with WhaiPeng and ZhiXin! And together we chatted till 1am or 2am odd- And something really hilarious happened, cause Weining wanted to shout out Jaryl's name for my sake. And she did! Like every 5 minutes or something, it was dammnn funny I say. And the guys thought it was their instructor. I think we were last to sleep, cause it was real quiet everywhere else(:

Day Two
Tuesday's IC: TaiYu!
Woke up super duper early:D at about 4am odd near 5;
Morning was funny, cause the moment the three of us woke up, we heard someone (I think Zikai) complaining about some funny person calling out Jaryl's name each time he was about to sleep, after every 5 minutes. Weining just giggled. Anyway the two of us (who were the earliest to wake up in our watch yay) took our own sweet time showering, packing, then had breakfast Washington's dorm while I looked for Jaryl/ WhaiPeng to chat with. Had morning exercise later in the morning at about 7am odd.. apparently we our watch ended up to be the last and you could tell that everyone was quite pissed, it was written all over their faces in bold and caps as everyone waited. Then again, who wouldn't be frustrated if they had to sit and wait aimlessley 45mins? But it was really rather awkward seeing everyone in a bad mood! :/ Apparently EC was irritated by SS as well, I think.

Next was the main activity of the day: Kayaking to (the very near) Camp Two!
Watch 26 and 27 were grouped together and we were called Arsen. That's because watch 26 were Sui Sen and watch 27 were Ah-kaow/neow (lets just call them the proper name Elizabeth Choy. instead) or something, so they mixed it and out came Ah-sen: Arsen! So creative right:D Thankfully, Cheryl was in watch 27 yay!:D Otherwise I think I would have been bored to death for the entire OBS camp.

First we walked into the sea with the life jacket on: It was the first time I entered the water with a life jacket, pretty cooling. (Haha, no link.) Then Cheryl TaiYu and I practised capsizing: it was fun! Cause we didn't know how to capsize at first so I was like, "nevermind I'll just sit at the side of the kayat, see if works" and suddenly *splash!* and we were swallowed by the sea. And then obviously we floated with the help of the extremely important (I don't know how to swim!) life jacket. Because we weren't allowed to mix with EC, I was supposed to be partnered with Weining but we were smart enough to partner with the guys so that we won't be that tired haha! So our final partnerings were TaiYu and I, Weining and Winston. Thankfully Camp 2 was very near, so we didn't have to stay on the sea for so long.

After unpacking we had a lame activity about blindfolding us in the forest and getting us to move from one tree to another tree. Honestly speaking up till now, I still don;t know what was the main objective of that activity. -__-. Plus blindfolding just make both my eyes and head hurt. Then Boo attempted to make us talk for one hour (and failed miserably.) since we were all just dozing off and ignoring everything she said.

After being pathetically bored we went to prepare and eat dinner plus bathed, followed by pitching tents (sucks to those who don't pitch tents but slack away comfortably instead, it's not that easy when there isn't any light about esp when everyone was so bloody irritated by our instructor who scolds us for no apparent reason.) then went for a night walk! Mmm I found it quite fun, wish we could do it again. Just as I was prepared to crawl through the tunnel by myself, I got a shock when I (can't use the word "see" this time.) found out that Winston and TaiYu was waiting. Haha! So as Winston went off TaiYu and I waited for Tricia, who were extremely relieved.(: I love you too Tricia! Haha. Then TaiYu went off while Tricia and I waited for Weining and Heidi, yahdidah you get the idea, and so we got out of the tunnel. Cheat method, but kudos to Winston and TaiYu. Btw the lightsticks Boo gave had such a pretty (and creepy green) glow!

This time round, Weining, Cheryl, and I slept together!!! Fortunately otherwise I'll just be pissed the upcoming day again. It was the best part of the day, because I was very irritated throughout the entire the day (again.), even till the night. Apparently OBS was the first time I got irritated so much and continuously day after day, because as I said, you'll end up seeing all the bad side of people. Turned out I was in such a foul mood, we bitched all the time till we were the last to sleep at 1am plus, when all the chatterings from other tents stopped. Mmf, most comfortable night of all. :)

Day Three
Was the WORST. Okay, I meant Camp 3 more than Day 3.
Wednesday's IC: Me! But there wasn't that much to do.

I was still a little upset over the incident on tues, but because Arsen were mostly together, Weining Cheryl and I hung out together a lot, so it was real fun and at least I enjoyed it. We had to kayak over to Camp 3 (Sea Expendition..!), and because TaiYu was the sweeper, Cheryl TaiYu and I grouped together for kayaking since there wasn't a need to be fast. Some people were irritated (including me.) by the groupings, because they were planned the night before but people were fussy and swapped again. Anyway, when I first started kayaking, I really felt the difference between a kayak with 2 people and 3 then! Apparently a lot more effort and energy were needed to speed up the kayak. :/

But kayaking were super funny. Apart the hot sun and the very long journey (under 5 hours), you get to watch others kayak.. and laugh. Like how we'll always spot Heidi applying sunblock SPF 50 while poor Bingjie were always kayaking, or when we watched on helplessly as everyone (and us) crashed into the plants as we kayak past a narrow path. Poor Nicholas too. Actually the three of us (Cher, Taiyu, I) could control our kayak pretty well, except for the speed.. So if we were going too fast and decided to pause a moment to chat, we'd see ourselves facing the plants all of a sudden because it was moving too fast and and we'll crash into it. It was so funny, the instructor laughed at us! Then there was one part, because we crashed into the plants, spiders landed on our kayak! So for a full five minutes we were waaaaaaaaayyy behind the entire team because Cheryl and I were trying to get rid of it from wherever it was on our body. Until TaiYu had to blow the whistle. Funny!! :D When we reached our third campsite, I guess everyone was pretty tired.. but congratulations Arsen, yay we did it:D.

Sidetrack abit, just for laughs as quoted from TaiYu's myspace:
It may sound tiring to kayak for 10km++ continuously but its really fun. Me chua and cheryl were the back sweepers which means we were supposed to be at the back trying to shoo ppl. But apparently we were too pro and somehow ended up in the front alot of times. I pity Bingjie (though i think bingjie is more than happy to do that). Cos he was kayaking with heidi who was like applying spf 50 over herself 80% of the time.


Pitched the tents. Sprayed insecticide (thanks Winston. At least I think they were Winston's.) all over those funny red ants. Some things didn't go too well and maddened me (again! Get my point?), but, nevermind. Camp 3 was terrible, because it was so disgusting, all thanks to the "toilet"... Thankfully, thankfully, there was the lovely quarry we could jump into. Oh and the quarry was very.. odd. Haha there are/were little number of times when I would lose myself, like forgetting to keep calm always like I usually do. (Oh remember Gerlynn, the time in year 1 when I was up on the rope-swing thing and I didn't know how to come down since it was the first time and I entered a state of panic which lasted for several seconds, when Chua wasn't Chua?)

Being in the quarry was the second time I felt that way. Apart that I wasn't very used to floating (because I seldom enter the water in the first place), I couldn't, really couldn't feel the bottom with my toes. So I panicked! I really panicked, I didn't like being in water, I nearly teared. So the first thing I did was to swim to Cheryl cause she was the first girl down and I was the second. T_T Took me a while to cool down, and by then I was having fun with everyone else. :) And I was so annoyed when Washington's instructor didn't let them in.........!!!! It was so unfair. D:

We cooked dinner under the poncho cause it was raining. -_- Very uncomfortable but at least we had nice food. Yum. Oh and I got pissed, this time for a more personal reason. My slippers spoilt, so I wanted to borrow a plastic bag from someone so that I could at least walk (like you know, attach my slipper sole with a plastic bag inside) apart from looking like an idiot.

Thing is, I brought a lot of spare plastic bags initially, but I finished up my own supply since I lent it to others too. I wasn't mad that the people I asked didn't have one, but more on the way they replied. Like for instance I've lent a lot of people a lot of stuffs for a lot of times, but when I asked them for one simple item when I really (like really.) need one (and I wouldn't borrow unless I'm left with no choice, I don't like to borrow things.), they just said no without thinking, without checking and without putting in any effort in trying to find one in their bag or whatsoever. It's not like I was expecting something in return when I lend things out so I didn't really expressed all these feelings that day, but like I said, people end up showing all their negative side and it turned out they were worse than I thought ie how selfish they were till they'd only care about themselves. Whatever. Thankfully, TaiYu decided to be kind and find me a plastic bag! Or else I can't even walk. -___- And by the time it was night, Weining decided to lend me her slippers cause she didn't like feeling grass and sand. Many many thanks to both of them!! :D After the ghost story telling session by EC's instructor (I don't know his name), I went over to complain to Jaryl too, about all the unhappy things which happened on Weds that made me mad. At least that cheered my mood up although he was down with sinus and very sleepy ahahaha.(:

So this time round I was suppose to sleep with Weining Tricia Heidi. Went to sleep almost immediately. But in the middle of the night at about 1am odd, Cheryl's tent crashed! Mainly because of the heavy rain and strong wind, so their tent got flooded. Mag and Cheryl came over to our tent to sleep, while Siying and Annabeth went someone elses tent. I was like yay at least I get to talk to Cheryl haha. But that means there were SIX of us sleeping in a single tent! :O It was a little stiff and uncomfortable, but still hilarilous, cause we were like sleeping on top of each other! Weining's head on my leg, my head on my pink pouch as pillow on the backpack beside I think Heidi, then Cheryl was lying on Heidi/ Weining? And Tricia was lying on Mag's knee and Mag on somewhere. If somebody was to come into our tent and spot this mess of us 6 girls, I bet he/ she would really roflmao.

Day Four
Thursday's IC: Stella!

Then we woke up and chat for about an hour (then to our annoyance, found out it was only between 4 to 5am when our watch could sleep till 6:30am). But it was SO cold that night that I couldn't sleep! Plus I heard Jaryl's voice too so I went out to the tent to find him and chat with him. After that Cheryl and I and some others prepared Milo! For all the lovely Arsen people haha. TaiYu and Winston was damn funny, they were cold at 7am odd! Cause Weining and I woke up at like 3am+, that was cold and when it was seven, it didn't seem to cold afterall. So when we passed the hot milo (yummy.) to them, they were like warming themselves by holding the cup instead of drinking them.

After that both SS and EC had to build a raft each. I felt terribly guilty that SS were allowed to jump into the quarry for the second time, while EC couldn't, while Washington never even had a chance- so I got out of the quarry quick within minutes. Then changed again to clean and dry clothes.. Ew to the surroundings. Went off for.. land expendition! We walked around with the heavy backpack for an estimated distance of 4km, really tired! But yay to SS when we reached! Happy feeling + sense of satisfication. And many thanks to all the guys in our watch, who helped to carry many of the heavy stuffs. :) Finally, we were back to Campsite One!

WE BATHED. One important thing I learnt from OBS: I'm going to treasure being clean. A lot. That was when I felt really disgusted and grossed out: I found out I had rashes. And because I had eczema before + sensitive skin, I kind of know my rashes often develop from external contact with unclean water. It was really bad, because they weren't on my hands/ legs, but the body, and they were BIG LARGE RED PATCHES all over my skin. Apparently it was because of the seawater from kayaking as well as dried up water with other dirt I have contact with after being in the quarry. Plus we couldn't bathe the day before.. hencefore. Luckily, they were those kind of temporary ones, which would subside after I washed the dirt off.

Next was my favourite activity: Rock Climbing! Wow they really weren't easy. Thankyou all belayers!! Especially Chongwei when he belayed me twice. :/ I think everyone from my watch climbed up the easy one though. Btw cinnamon bars taste yummy and nice!! :D
And so we went off to pitch the tents. On our way down the hill Weining and I met Winston and Taiyu and I started complaining to them about yet another certain stuff on that day, that was when I realised they were also irritated by the same matter! And in the end four us started to click really well cause we complained about the same things, HAHA.

Went to the cookhouse after packing, YUM! :D The chefs cooked for us (many thanks to them, they favoured me just because I talked to them during the afternoon haha!) so they called me back after I took my serving and then dumped 8 more chicken wings on my plate, which I promptly shared with the watch because there was no way I could finish them. We then went to play this DingDong game, confusing but funny to watch as everyone started to have blur looks on their face. :) I guess everyone had fun, then we went back to the cookhouse to have yummy red bean soup. I wished I took more! (Because they were nice, and I hadn't had green/red bean soup for ages. Maybe when Mum comes back from Malaysia I'll ask her to cook.)

The fourth night was the most uncomfortable night. Fortunately I got to share the tent with Cheryl and Weining, and Annabeth came to join our tent too. It was sooo quiet as we chat/complained/gossipped/bitched, I was really feeling all suspicious. Turned out that when Winston and Taiyu came over to our tent to play cards till 1am odd, Winston told us that they were trying to listen to our conversation haha! But it's not like we were talking bad about anyone that night (except N, which we smartly gave a nickname), so we didn't really mind. Played Spades, Bridge, and Cheat! TaiYu didn't play Cheat too well, here's a scenario:

Winston: One six.
TaiYu: One seven. *pause* No, I mean one six.

By then we were all looking at him in the -____- face, so he was like, "okay okay I'll take the deck". Haha!! And I don't know which game it was, but TaiYu actually said the F word. How rare. It was hilarious, we laughed a lot. They went back to their tents at 1am odd, and we fell asleep.. very uncomfortably. Apart from being squashed to a tiny space of mere area with a width of less than 40cm (yes, it was that bad.), our tent was pitched on some kind of large tree root/ branch. Or lets just say something large hard. So we really didn't sleep much that night, it was all very uncomfortable.. turned out we got real tired on Friday.

Day Five: Last day!

Friday's IC: Tricia!

Unpitched the tent early in the morning. Tricia and Heidi were all excited about Pulau Ubin. On the other hand, I was pretty neutral about it, but the thought of being clean were highly appreciated. We had to clean and packed up everything- and find the lost things too. I don't know who it was who left their poncho/ groundsheet on the ground outside the medical room, but it was very inconsiderate of them. It's like they left it there because they were lazy or something, but others in the watch had to end up spending time searching all over the campsite for it.

Had another short activity, which was to lunge and ring a bell. Nothing particularly interesting so I'll just skip mentioning it. Also went to the souvenior shop, bought the nice white polo tee! (Btw, the raised the price from $15 to $18, guess it's natural for businesses to want to earn money.) And then we had to sit in a circle and write each other's good and bad points. I think the team was really nice to me, cause they didn't write any negative points for except one which said "lack of bad points" haha! Thankyou watchmates(: But personally I think I grumbled a lot more than usual during OBS.. hmm. :/

And after surviving 5days and 4nights.. we finally received our OBS cert! Yay. Apparently I was the only one who brought a hard cover file (as adviced by Gerlynn:)), a lot of people's certs are with me! I really got to remember to return them.. Tricia's Heidi's Weining's and TaiYu's. Erp. :/

Went back to Singapore!! Grabbed a bite at subway, then Weining TaiYu and I went out to JP for dinner after going home and bathed + changed. Winston was suppose to come along, but (haha.) his parents came to school as a surprise to fetch him back. Sound ironic, but it was quite some surprise.

Part Two:
Things which ain't so nice.

1) I dislike HanSiang very much.
I'm somewhat aplogetic about flaming people on my blog, but I really detest the incident which occured on Monday very much. Please, if you know that many people out there already dislikes you, it's not a very sensible thing to piss me off intentionally when it's obviously going to increase that number. You acted as though you were cleaning up the cooking area while WhaiPeng and I were standing at a side chatting there. If others were to have the sense to ask us to move aside nicely before splashing water on the ground, you certainly didn't. We wouldn't have minded if you said it was an accident for splashing water on us and apologised- but apart from not doing so, you walked off with a smug look on your face saying, "Oh, I thought you guys knew." when we were obviously not even looking at your direction. I'm sure it was an accident.-_- Please don't feign innocence either, because others were there and they're neither blind nor stupid, they witnessed it, and they know who's at the right and who's at the wrong. I don't like posting this and so I'll want to delete this paragraph as soon as I can, but only after you've apologised to both of us.

2) N
I think a lot of people was upset by N, too. But take note, if you are in a group where many tasks are suppose to be completed, it's best to help out too. Don't complain you're tired, because others are. Don't complain you're getting lots of mosquito/sandflies bites, others are. Help out. If you want to sleep, jolly well help to pitch the tents instead of folding your arms and waiting. Unpitch the tents instead of just standing and watching others. Walk faster and don't slow down your watch- if you don't want to help, at least don't make it worse. Plus you weren't even carrying anything while others carried the tents/ groundsheet/ blahblah. Don't treat others like slaves to cook your food without saying thanks, especially when you didn't do anything. And can you be a little more automatic in future, like wash the cup after drinking the milo when it was Mag's cup and not yours? And when you were assigned work to build the raft? Don't just sit; I don't think eye power works. Plus I really pitied your kayaking partner- how can anyone be so pathetically lazy? I gave you a chance and tried to like you, but you squandered it well too. If I were you (and hopefully you know who you are.), I'd apologise to everyone, and try to change myself for the better. Otherwise, you'd probably just get disliked more by everyone in the upcoming year.

3) Borrowing Items.
A very general topic, not directing to anyone in particular.
There - is - a -reason - why - they - gave - a - pack - list.
I don't have a problem lending people stuffs especially when it was an accident they didn't bring them or that they are apologetic about it, but some people literally demands to be lent. I don't like it when people takes my things without permission, please ask if you want to be lent, and I will do so politely. Lastly, when you're lent, use the supply adequately. It doesn't give a very good impression if you press out one big blob when you only need a small amount, because I myself need them too. Also, when you're out for a camp, do bring the stuffs that were mentioned in the pack list. Its very unreasonable to rely on someone else to bring the stuffs- even if they were simple things like toothpaste, insect repellent, sunblock, plastic bags etc. So many people borrowed the insect repellent from me, I ran out of it by the time it was Weds despite bringing one full tube and half. Borrowing things occasionally is fine, but you'll be crossing the line if you end up borrowing a long list of things frequently, regardless if there were just simple items or not. Best of all: Bring your own.

4) Punctuality
Short and sweet, don't make people wait. Be apologetic if you are, too.

5) Don't be spoilt.
This one's slightly personal; A camp's a camp that's meant for you to overcome your fears and things like that. Don't act like a spoilt kid and get all whiny, expect everything to go your way, or kick up a fuss over something small. Once again, help out! It's better to do things together in a team than to be useless and give eyepower.

Part Three:
Lovely dedications! :D

1) TAIYU.
Wow, there's a reason why I really have to put TaiYu for the first on my list. He really helped Weining and I for loads of stuffs, till it's uncountable and made me feel quite guilty. Thanks TaiYu for accompanying us (the two girls) back to the dormitory when it was really late because we left our stuffs there; thanks for lending Weining your towel as a blanket and continued to for the next three nights; thanks for lending me the damned plastic bag when no one else did; thanks for carrying two tents during hiking (ouch); thanks for being an awesome kayaking groupmate; thanks for giving Cheryl and I your food on the kayak when we went hungry, thanks for being a nice person to complain/talk nonsense with too haha. And probably some other things too which I can't remember, but you were really kind to treat all the girls very nicely in our watch(:. Only bad thing about you is you keep teasing Weining and Winston! HAHA.

2) WEINING.
Yay hello the oh-so-cheerful Weining! Although we didn't really know each other beforehand, (at least I didn't, but you were like a stalker reading people's blog ._.), I really clicked well with you by the first day haha. And there was only one other person whom I clicked so fast and well with, and that was Feyra. Thankyou Winston for deciding to wait for the girls in the tunnel (despite that I got irritated at you for scaring Heidi/ Tricia during the nightwalk.) ; thanks for carrying the heavy stuffs while hiking; thanks for being so funny and nice to complain/crap with too! :) Btw he smses like 5k+ per month. Madness.

Haha yups, without Cheryl in Arsen I would have gotten terribly annoyed and OBS would be unbearable. Thank goodness you were there for me to bitch to always, I've gotten furious too many times. Thanks for being in our oh-so-awesome kayaking group and getting our faces smacked to the tree branches every now and then. Haha! And thanks for lending me your insect repellent when I ran out of mine):, and also for lending Weining and I the sleeping bag each time we slept together:D Plus being caring always. Love you too!

5) CHONGWEI
I think ChongWei's very nice, just a matter of if he wants to or not. Thanks for belaying me twice for rockclimbing! Which was something I felt a little apologetic for, cause he looked really tired (and sweating) but he still agreed to belay me when I requested for it. :/ Haha, thankyou very much and I really appreciate it too! And thanks for being the navigator for kayaking- although you weren't really official but half the time we all know you were the one holding on to the map and leading the way:D

6) WHAIPENG
For sleeping with me for the first night! Funnny. And for being there for me to bitch and complain to again and again! Sad we weren't in the same team, but fortunately I still get to see you during mealtimes to talk to you hahah:D

7) TRICIA & HEIDI
Haha you two bring loads of fun (and entertainment) to the watch with all those cheerful laughters. Although some things didn't go too smoothly, at least we get to chat together since we were in the same watch, and also shared the same complaints about N! :/ And don't be too scared about insects next time! Just take them with your fingers and squish (if you really don't want to let them live.)

Thanks for being a wonderful watch to hang out with! :D Especially many thanks to the guys for helping us to pitch tents and carry heavy stuffs too. :) Like jetty cans and kayaks! They were really heavy. :O (Utkarsh is another nice person, too.)

Haha, his presense just makes me feel secure. And I went over to complain about all the stuffs that happened during OBS to him too, that made me feel better each time I got upset. Thank goodness we could see each other during mealtimes/ night times as well. :)

Finally the post's done, and everything above the astericks has a word count of ~5600 words. Probably one of my longest posts ever, hence taking me so much time to type out-_-.
Btw, to those who's in OBS Group 3, I'd recommend you bring (excluding the one you wear) about 3 long sleeves/ 6 short sleeves or 4 long sleeves/ 5 short sleeves shirt. Followed by 3 trackpants and 3 shorts, ~25 wipes, ~10+ plastic bags (both large and small), ~5 Ziplock bags, 2 towels, Hat's also a must-bring item. That way you shouldn't run out of any stuffs. :)

And wow, I'll be super impressed if somebody finished reading this right from the start. It's so long, it's gotta be boring midway. .__.

OBS

HELLO EVERYONE I'M BACK FROM OBS!!! :D
I really gotta rush quite a short post, because I have to reach JP in, say.. less than an hour.
Anyway, I have loads to say aobut OBS, all the goood and baaads. Although I didn't particularly enjoyed OBS (I rated them 2 out of 7 for the survey...) partly because of the not-so-nice instructor or just their too-common activities.
But I really enjoyed staying overnight again, it was more or less the best part of OBS(:. Which was a pity, because we could have easily booked a chalet instead.
In any case, OBS really let you know the good/ bad side of another person- thats why I have so much to post. And I've never gotten so angry so many days in a row, I really got so irritated, especially on the first day! I literally screamed the F word; it's not something to be proud of, but I've just got to say how bloody irritated I was by HanSiang, and he still hasn't apologised to WhaiPeng and I.
Lots of funny stuffs happened though, and I'm glad I made new friends. Three new close ones, in fact, so I'm very happy too. I've got loads of people to thank for OBS; which made my last few days aweessommee. Perhaps in my next post, when I'm not in so much of a rush.

Hey! I personally am looking forward (alot) to OBS. I can't wait for the jetty jump(!) - until Jaryl came over and tell me about Jellyfish in the sea and how painful it is when you hit the water and stuffs like that. Only down part is I can't swim, but I really wanna jump that thingy! :D

Oh, but I STILL haven's finished buying all the stuffs I need! D: The long sleeves part is giving me a problem. Apart from the odd thought of wearing long sleeves under the hot sun, I can't possibly wear anything that I currently have which is: bright red/orange/yellow/green/blue/pink/purple to OBS right? I mean it'll just be weirrdd. Maybe, just maybe, I can like borrow from Danielle after hers if I'm super desperate. :D Or I can ask Siming, since I'm meeting her over the weekends. (:

And I had another dream last night, a group of friends (I forgot who everyone was...) and I were being hunted down by Voldemort and Blue Grundos. I told you I have idiotic dreams. I've been dreaming too much nowdays, hopefully I'll get to sleep well tonight. Ahahaha.

I just had one of the lamest dream ever.

It started off with me offering my sister the FruitTree Orange Juice (my favourite:D).. in my school? She was sitting on the green table area. Then thes scene switched to Cheryl and I in IMM, and we were in a shop which was like Daiso but sells things for more than 2 bucks each. I don't know how, but Xinyi came into the picture. Then one of us wanted to use the restroom, and we were saying how the shop's washroom is extremely clean and nice. Unfortunately, there was a long queue in front of it and I called Xinyi (on the handphone cause for some reason we took two different rountes to the same toilet.) and told her we'll look for another one.
For some reason, Xinyi turned into Feyra when we met up. I still remembered Feyra standing on my left and Cheryl on my right. Then, Feyra complained about something hurting in her eye cause we were walking too fast...? I have no idea why hahaha. Then, we went to Gerlynn's house (!!! - but it wasn't Ger's house, it has 2 storeys.) and used her washroom? Cheryl and Feyra went to shower while Ger and I cooked dinner...? It was fried rice with egg. I don't know why, but I wanted to add salt to the egg? And I was still asking my mum (who was in Ger's house) why we have so little salt left and so much rice in the container...
Then after eating dinner they said we were going out in 20 minutes or something.
That's when I heard my sister complaining about her job in (the real) living room and I woke up.

These kind of dreams don't exactly make sense.

I really haven't been posting much, cause I ended up going out quite a lot still despite not making much plans.

Oh btw SINGTEL SUCKS. They deducted only 25 bucks from my phone bill (for 500 free local smses) but they forgot to deduct the other 25 bucks (for 500 free singtel-to-singtel smses) so my total phone bill was FIFTY SIX ODD when its only suppose to be like THIRTY ODD. I'm quite pissed, cause I know my dad was pissed! (He went off to work so I didn't get a chance to explain.) IF they say some shit about my phone plan having only 500 free smses instead of 1k because of retarded reasons, I'm NEVER GOING TO SUBSCRIBE TO SINGTEL AGAIN. It's like I only messaged 1045 this month and the bill came in as $56.80! Frustrating! And their reception also/already sucks! And the internet connection (also singtel.) dced like thrice today!! UrGHHHhh.

Forgot to post about CAP. I'm still quite upset/angry that my languages pulled my CAP down by a lot. D: It's like, if I scored a few marks higher for EL test/ exam, my entire CAP would be increased by 0.07. What to do? Work harder next year lor. D:

On Friday, we had yoga class instead of dance class. We had to do all kind of unglam exercises, with all the stumblings and attempting to maintain our balance in vain. Then there was the usual turns from one end of dance room to the other, at least those are slack. And laoshi wasn't strict, so we didn't do much stretches. Yay!
Oh and Danielle, don't worry too much about your OBS groupings. The instructors will make the experience fun for you even if you end up with horrible groupmates. So stay happy throughout the 5D4N k? All the best!(:

Oh and Jaryl will be in Malaysia till Monday.): Their soccer team won some tournament on Friday! :D So they all got a shiny trophy each. Cool, huh?

Anti-social Mood.

Mm, I feel more cheerful after watching the video from my dearest sister. Otherwise, I'm in a pretty anti-social mood nowadays... Like how I don't like to hang out with others unless they're my close friends or something.... Odd. Maybe I'm just tired.

Pretty exhausted today cause of Cheryl's surprise birthday party. After lugging the plastic bags filled with deco and all for two busstops distance plus rushing from place to place (I left the house like 3 minutes before the time we were suppose to meet at BukitBatok cause I was in a mad rush-__-), then spending one hour in the function room to blow up and hang balloons and decos (which got popped.), it was pretty worth it I guess. For once nothing leaked out, yay, and Cheryl was surprised enough to keep real quiet compared to her usual self. Hahaha.

Tricia got lost on her way though, she got laughed by the Taxi Driver cause he said "Hillington Green is one building away", but on the good side she said she burnt about a million calories trying to find her way. And I think I still like Primary School/ Kids games, like Freeze and Melt! I tripped over the slide at the playground and had slight abrasion; it's nice to fall down once in a while though..

I love lightsticks and sparklers.. Never gonna get the noise-making one again. Loud and noisy. Plus short. Teehee. So we all got home pretty late and I'm (quite) tired. Enjoyable though.

All of a sudden I'm not looking forward to script checking, I'm figured that I'm doing below average for Trigo due to idiocy and History due to lousy time management/ spending 20mins on background knowledge-_-; so maybe script checking week is the reason why I'm feeling so lousy for. ): I really didn't expect I'll do badly for both, since they were subjects I which I'm suppose to ace in/at. *frowns*

Anyway, my phone spoilt, so I'm using my mum's. I'm pretty demoralised about it (Usually I don't really care, but..) it doesn't have the alarm I'm used to, so I have to rely on my alarm clock and end up waking late, which is extremely annoying.

I hope my sis plays Neopets, it'd be so fun.

And since Hanisah was asking about what my ideal party would be like, I came up with a reply. It'll be one where all the people I'm close with and nice friends are invited to, and for once they'll decide to get along with each other. That'll be very touching, cause it seems pretty impossible at the moment. T_T

After hanging out in Dad's company for like 24589570123 hours (fun carnival, but tiring), I went to Gerlynn's house with another 2845687140 number of people to have the BBQ party.
We're going out on Sunday yay. (Roxanne KaiQi KaiLin Xinyi; hopefully Ger/ Feyra too!)
Now my legs are sore, and I need rest.

Mixed Feelings. :/

Oh gosh, I just don't feel like posting about the happy/ funny things that happened today suddenly.. even though I probably know what the main reason is. :/ Thing is, I don't think it's suppose to affect me much so I don't know why I'm feeling all so awkward.
It's perhaps just the guilt. I don't know. :/ Suddenly this whole feeling of "I screwed up this year" comes flooding in my mind now that 2008's ending.. *emos away*.
Shall post about the happier stuffs tomorrow night or something; Apart from the silly incident earlier this morning, Danielle and I had fun out today(:. BoonSiong also restocked a Green Draik Egg^^ (Be SHOCKED, Cheryl, and go "OMFG x100" like I did), plus Mariel and I were chatting about HTF.. ewwwww!!!! Hahahahaha.

WHEN hospice nurse Florence Ling Liping, 23, stepped into the Windmill Room at the Singapore Biennale in City Hall yesterday evening, she thought she would be watching a video presentation of yet another art exhibition.
What she saw instead was a marriage proposal in the form of a slide presentation from her boyfriend, trainee teacher Chui Kiam Ming, 27.

Going down on one knee, Mr Chui presented her with a $3,000 diamond ring. Though speechless at first, she eventually said 'yes'.

'I didn't expect this at all, I never thought my boyfriend would do something like this,' she gushed.

The choice of venue was apt - love first blossomed between the two at the inaugural Singapore Biennale art show exactly two years ago.

Mr Chui said: 'We had our first date on Nov 2, 2006, at the Singapore Biennale, so it's both a special date and special event for us.'

He approached the Biennale organiser, National Arts Council, with his idea and the council was only too glad to arrange the special occasion for the lovebirds, giving them the privacy of the children's exhibition room and even providing balloons and flowers.

The pair spent two hours viewing the other exhibits at the venue before Mr Chui steered Miss Ling to the Windmill Room.

He feigned a need to use the restroom and left her alone in the room to view the presentation, for which he had stayed up until 3am the night before to prepare.

Towards the end of the slideshow, he stepped back in with the ring and flowers just as the big question popped up on the screen: 'Will you marry me?'

The couple do not plan to tie the nuptial knot any time soon, though.

'We may not be holding the wedding so soon, maybe in another year or two. But I can't miss out this chance to propose now because the Biennale takes place only once every two years,' said Mr Chui.

In the meantime, they have the option of celebrating their engagement at one of the world's top romantic spots - the Taj Mahal in India.

Jet Airways, one of the sponsors of the Biennale, has sponsored flight tickets and accommodations worth a total of $4,000 to New Delhi.

They also received a pair of Singapore Flyer tickets from the arts council.

Another way to put it? Be smart enough to propose in a public occasion, you'll get free stuffs. It's a way the organisers thank them for the extra publicity they get in ST, I'd suppose. :)

Argh I can't stand my dad. Living with him just makes me go crazy. I so wish I have a way out.

Hmm I'm home early! :) Cause I have to get to Clementi with Dad before going out with Gel again later during the afternoon. I hope I'll get to buy most of the stuffs which I need, even though I'm suppose to save.

Did quite badly for trigo paper cause I didn't see the second last page till I had between 5 to 10 minutes had. Can't say whether its carelessness or stupidity, maybe a bit of both; but I got irritated at myself anyway. Zz.

Mmm, Gel and I had fun today! She managed to get those tiaras for prom night while I efficiently wasted money on.. 2 cards and a pair of earrings! Sounds almost redundant, but the cards were sweet. We didn't take Neos cause JurongPoint doesn't have them, but we had fun at the arcade- how often do I get to hear Gel exclaiming, "I'm possessed! I'm possessed!"?

Btw we came across these Kimmidolls stuffs sold in Precious Thoughts! They were ohmygoodness super pretty! And their pencil casing were of such a princess pink. Also came across this Happy House bag (they're so kawaii :D), but it was like nearly 50 bucks so I didn't get them.

Owh.

Erm.
My family went to attend our dad's uncle's funeral. My sis and I never saw him in our entire life before, so we aren't so sure why we went. So we met one of cousin who were forced to go too, she was equally bored.
So basically I didn't get to play KQ last night. Yay.

Nevermind.

And my printer is like. Spoilt? I can't seem to find a more suitable word. It's not screwed yet cause it still can print, but it takes like 10 minutes per page or something.

WHEE

Yay! Nearly all the exams (EXCEPT TRIGO) are over!

Haha I hadn't posted for one weeek.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIEL! :D
On 31st October; I couldn't post yesterday.

Um, basically, EL was ~, HCL was BAD, TD's my worst, Bio was ~, Chem was ~ but careless):, Functions was ~ but careless too, and Phy was ~.
Rawr. So next up is Trigo. The revision exercises we had wasn't too easy! ):

Anyway. Gerlynn Feyra Gerbelle and I went to cineleisure to watch HSM 3 yesterday! It was quite nice, I think? I'm not exactly a fan of HSM. Feyra cried (extremely normal though.). Haha. So it was a reasonably good and day on Friday. :)

I'm worried for my splits.

Played Keyquest with BoonSiong/ JunHan yesterday too! And I'm meeting Tricia to play KQ tonight. She's addicted to it! :D CHERYYL join us later if you're reading this! :)
