Moths are very ugly creatures. At least that is what I always thought until a reliable source told me otherwise. When I was about five or six years old, my brother Joseph and I stayed overnight at our Aunt Linda’s house, our favorite relative. She spoke to us like adults, and she always had the best stories.
Joseph was only four years old, and still afraid of the dark, so Aunt Linda left the door open and the hall light on when she tucked us in to bed. Joe couldn’t sleep, so he just lay there staring at the ceiling. Just as I dozed off to sleep, he woke me up and asked, “Jennie, what are those ugly things near the light?”(I had always liked that he asked me questions because I was older and supposed to know the answers. I didn’t always know the answers, of course, but I could always pretend I did.) He was pointing to the moths fluttering around the hall light. “They’re just moths, go to sleep,” I told him.
He wasn’t content with that answer, or the moths near his night light, so the next time my Aunt walked by the door he asked her to make the ugly moths go away. When she asked why, he said simply, “Because they’re ugly and scary, and I don’t like them! ”She just laughed, rubbed his head, and said, “Joe just because something is ugly outside doesn’t mean it’s not beautiful inside. Do you know why moths are brown?” Joe just shook his head.
“Moths are the most beautiful animals in the animal kingdom. At one time they were more colorful than the butterflies. They have always been helpful, kind, and generous creatures. One day the angels up in heaven were crying. They were sad because it was cloudy and they couldn’t look down upon the people on earth. Their tears fell down to the earth as rain. The sweet little moths hated to see everyone so sad. They decided to make a rainbow. The moths figured that if they asked their cousins, the butterflies, to help, they could all give up just a little bit of their colors and they could make a beautiful rainbow.
One of the littlest moths flew to ask the queen of the butterflies for help. The butterflies were too vain and selfish to give up any of their colors for neither the people nor the angels. So, the moths decided to try to make the rainbow themselves. They beat their wings very hard and the powder on them formed little clouds that the winds smoothed over like glass. Unfortunately, the rainbow wasn’t big enough so the moths kept giving a little more and a little more until the rainbow stretched all the way across the sky. They had given away all their color except brown, which didn’t fit into their beautiful rainbow.
Now the once colorful moths were plain and brown. The angels up in heaven saw the rainbow, and became joyous. They smiled and the warmth of their smiles shown down on the earth as sunshine. The warm sunshine made the people on earth happy and they smiled, too. Now every time it rains the baby moths, who still have their colors, spread them across the sky to make more rainbows.”
My brother sank off to sleep with that story and hasn’t feared moths since. The story my aunt told us had been gathering dust in the back corners of my brain for years, but recently came back to me.
I have a friend named Abigail who always wears gray clothes. She is also one of the most kind and generous people I’ve ever met. When people ask her why she doesn’t wear more colors she just smiles, that smile, and says, “Gray is my color.” She knows herself and she doesn’t compromise that to appease other people. Some may see her as plain like a moth, but I know that underneath the gray, Abigail is every color of the rainbow.

This morning, I had a dream. And apparently I knew that it was a dream, so I was trying to wake myself up, but it was as usual, tough. Basically I forgot what it was about, but Ms Chen was in it (must have been thinking too much about geog) and there's this partner thingo in NUSHS. Weird thing was my partner was Chucky/17/Chengee - exclassmate (...) And halfway throught I felt my neck aching and found that I was in a dream, then frantically tried to wake myself up (goodness, i dislike that experience pretty much. How do you put it in words?) and finally I managed to. Went to have a shower before going to school and doing some silly stuff.

Yesterday, I had a dream as well. I dreamt of him, after remembering that his birthday was approaching. I think I smiled in it, though. *
Physics and English paper tmr. Shall read through English file once again. And Physics Purple book. And after the exams I'll stay back in the library doing more Chemistry Practices and SOE exercies. More. Much much more.
And my purple pen is still with Gerlynn. I lost several stationaries, and wonder where my pink pencil went. I really like/d it. Shall buy another one from Popular again. My ruler's gone too. Not surprised; it has legs all the time. Must have been something to do with magical enchantments in my pencil books.

What a terrible ending.
I was thinking of all the bad endings; and out came the worst one.
Sad. Very.
When I got the chance to talk to my sis about the book, I cried for at least one hour. Sobs.
He died! He was a good person, and he died! I weep for him. *

Haha. Suddenly I remembered what happen in the concourse after assembly this morning. Reminded myself to post it on my blog. Just for those people who missed out the short laughter in the concourse.
So, as we (gerlynn and i), with the other whole lot of students, walked up the grand stand and through the entrance towards the concourse after flag raising this morning. As Gnia+Jo and co. was packing up their stuff near a pillar, Jo started screaming and jumping after she touched her bag. Just as we were wondering why, we noticed an adult - or almost there - cockroach crawling in a pretty fast speed out of her bag.
Quite a shock, I'll say. o.O That's not the funny part, though...
Stanley went forward and stepped on it. Pretty abrupt.
* Books rock. Haven't been reading them for a longg time. After The High Lord will be Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings - and that's only book 1 of the series of 5. Mwhahahaha. And after exams I shall rob Kinokuniya.
I wish. Then I'll bury the rest of the year in books. Mwhahah. I wish. *
Shan't think of what's going to happen after exams beside playing Neopets like madness. It's not like I'm studying very hard for my exams right now and I'm pretty sure of that.

Hello lub lub. <3
Just had math test. Didn't do very well for it, maybe I've just passed. Looks like indices's is the only Math Subject that I'm soooo weak at - below average if I'm not wrong. Sad.
In fact, this semester didn't go very well for me either. It's great that I've survived until now =D and hopefully I won't fail any subjects. Still hoping; studying; praying. Especially Geography... Don't like the subject much, but that's no excuse for failing and being lazy.
Anyway, I didn't really think I can concentrate so much with so many things happening around me at this time. Especially not after June holidays... was a little moodless - all the way until now.
It's pretty nice of me typing here. I'm alone blogging at the side coz the rest of the girls are watching gooong - haha - but it's good... coz I get to think silently.
Anyway, shouldnt get distracted since it's suppose to be revision revision and more revision - missing gep years - but apparently now I have both a Nitendo (with the Pokemon catridge being my favourite) and well - 3 books.
Lubb! The Magician's guild, the Novice, the High Lord by Trudi Canavan. Simple English, but interesting plot. It's been a long time since I've went back to the reading timesss. love love love love love love////
Sistaa's birthday today. Happy Birthday to Yu Jing. Haven't gotten her a present; not that I usually get her one. Most of the times I get one for her but refuse to give it to her in the end and store it in some deserted cupboard until it dissapears; as I know more than often that she won't appreciate it and I'll regret giving it to her one day. So, what can I get her? She seems to have everything she wants. Okay. Everything that's affordable. -laughs-
(Gnia just came over and whack my head. o.O! And I thought it was Sharlene but Sharlene won't whack so much. Ooops. Kosa just shouted some weird stuff and accidentaly split a bottle of water and splashed it across the row including me. Now he and another guy is being dragged away to the G.O to Mr. Tan. Erm. Hope it doesn't go too bad. )

Gnia came over and forgetting that the CPU at this particular part of the computer is messed up, meaning her computer screen is controlled by my CPU, and mine hers, she accidentally switched off her CPU which well, ahem, supposedely there goes my entire post but fortunately if you realise there's this small button called "Recover Post" at the top, so it worked. - for once. first time. HAHA. lucky freak.
Gerlynn came over. dazing. staring into thin air. Playing with the curtain. Thinking about Ivan. Oh wait. I can't see the last sentence but I can always sense it. ^^

Btw, talking about Gnia, who is currently on my right, I was just thinking yesterday about how she will kill me after Exam ends. Didn't stretch, eat so much... haha... heavy lifting for the bases. And then the normal cheer pracs will come back.

And so, yesterday. After school at around 2pm I had to zoom off to AngMoKio in a Taxi coz' I was rushing for time - went to this super ulu SMRT place - to get my wallet back. Anyway, it was really really really badly deserted. They were all adults there, in the same uniform (the SMRT one), and along with the drizzling + PSI day, it kind of reminded me of Camazotz and gave me a little creeps.
So I asked this security guard for the way to the place to get my wallet and he pointed to this large white building (even more like Camazotz, huh?) And so after walking past all the "dangerous" roads without traffic light (because of the tons of SMRT buses and taxis!) I reached that really weird place.
Plus it was cold. Marble. But the female assistant inside was pretty friendly. ^^ And I got my wallet back after waiting for several minutes. Signed some form and blah. And on my way out I thanked the Security Guard coz' he was pretty friendly as well. ^^
After that, I got back to the deserted road where I alighted from the taxi (with two extremely ulu busstops, with bus 70 and 268). So I crossed the road, asked the one and only person there who nicely replied my question that 70 goes to YioChuKang and he dont know where the other goes (very very deserted place it was). Right. After that he left in the bus and I was still wondering which busstop at which side I should take to get back to which MRT station.
And then I was laughing at myself while jaywalking back and forth still thinking which busstop to go to (it was really stupid xD) when I smsed several people about how hilarious the world is... when I stopped to take a Taxi instead. XDXDXDXDXDXD.
Anyway I had to rush off to BoonLay using the MRT again to meet Sistaa coz she wanted to buy a Nitendo catridge for moi, and i picked the Pokemon one.. haha.. not that I have touched it yet. And we went to Pizzahut for dinner (which out of 4, she only finished 3 pieces in her personal pan) after she refused letting me eat the precious MerryMint in Swensens.
After dinner, sis brought moi to the flourist at JP and I bought 4 pretty yellow-white roses, for Sharlene, Jo, Jasmine, and FangYi. Right. so after that I had to rush back to school for the violin concert thingo.
And so I was saying there's this violin thingo in our school yesterday, happily crashing with the observation time (when zongyao was up at the roof).
Anyway it was pretty nice, with Sidwyn playing 3 pieces individually, along with Jo, Jia Qian, and several more, not forgetting the RGS and NYGH guest performer was playing Winter Sonata and *I forgot what* - that was the piece i liked most. (: And not to forget that next time, shouldnt have called *points to left right and diagonally front left*. Coz *right* was folding paper, *left* was reading harry potter --|||, and *diagonally front left* was half asleep --|||||. But then the one directly infront of me was thinking of Ivan! xD. And jong was sitting behind me, with Jonathan as well. hahax.
Oh and after that darren nicely gave fangyi paper flowers for her wonderful performance! x) very very sweet of him, said sharl and i, coz it was his first move to her ta-ha! :D
And so after the concert we (ivan, wj, stan, jq, hehao, ger, sharl, kailin, and i) went to the fitness corner and did random stuff while the guys tried to make the girls fall off from that funny wooden thingo.
nvm, anyway, end of the day and Mr. Ang nicely let us out through the back gate!! (saved us from walking a round the school)
And that was the end of that day.
And I slept when I got home. And woke up - tried to wake up as late as possible, in fact - I barely have the time to sleep all day - woke at 8am - then slept again - till around 11am. ahh.
Well, that's about it. Nothing much interesting about today besides TNT letting out another part of the plot which literally killed everyone.

omg. this is funny. for those who know about TOW in neopets.

I think I've given up trying to type all the demoralising ones partly because there's too many for me to type. And usually I'll just get over with it in a few more days, although the thought is still stuck and chuck in some part of my brain.

So I was measuring my height against the bookshelf. When I say that, I mean it's inaccurate. Anyway, reading says I'm 162cm. That's weird. But, I still wish to grow taller, ladida.
And after that I went around through just several of my MSN contacts to see how tall the guys are in Year 1. xD.
Saddique - 178cm. YALA. He's too tall! xD. Stanley - 173cm. Whoa. Jaryl - 170cm. He thinks. Logically either Jar's same height as Pan or something, so, haha... PanChuen - 166cm. Morning. Assembly.
Then a talk for the girls only. (year 1) Apparently it was the same thing as the talk for the guys, so I didn't get why they split us up. At least last year there was difference - they got the girls to know how to protect themselves and the guys to keep their hands to themselves (though it didnt really work.) (just kidding.)
Apparently the talk was about (-__-) stuff. Difference between lust, infactuation, and love. And to make a small poster on the Pros and Cons about Group Dates/ Single Date. And WhaiPeng's group poster was AWESOME. Just some Pros points she mentioned about Single Date: - Boost Economy (due to a rising sale of condoms) - Support PAP (more kids) - More customers in Hotels
wootz. x) Meanwhile my team was doing on the Group Date stuff. And so Jean said the Pro: Girls will not be taken advantage of Con: Girls cannot take advantage Lollll~! *
After that was some Chemistry Talk by some professor. Supposedly one hour along. I half paid attention half daydreamed. Aw. *
Break! Yadida. Ate food. And put up our AXIS poster in the hall. Aw, sadd. My team didn't get the blue ribbon. :( But at least the teacher considered ours! Aw.. *
Presentation. More like running around the hall trying to strangle people using the "5-legged-octopus" which Gerlynn made. First it was Stanley, then JiaQing, then Tiffany, and also Mr. Ku, WhaiPeng... etc... xD. *
Went to NHHS to visit Mr. Wee!! AWW!! Miss him soo much, our class did. And we went to eat lunch at NHHS. Cheeap. at least cheaper than NUSHS. Had teriyaki fish like Cleo and Janell did. We were also teasing Janell and JunHan together... x) But oh, they make a rather suitable couple... Oh and for some reason we decide to visit Mr. Wee as often as we can! Nicee. *
Went back to NUSHS with Mariel since we wanted to watch a "good show". It didn't manage to come though. Happened that I went to watch Fleming's cheer, unexpectedly Stanley came with WeiJin as well. Pure coincidence. Anyway there was Bryan too~. Practiced some cartwheels and can't mend the problem, did some toetouches, handstands, blah.. And also shouldersit on WeiJin, Stan, Bryan. Nice~! WeiJin ran half the round in the hall when I shouldersit on him. Scary at first but the wind's cooling. Ah~. Did some elevators on different pairs... Roy+PHS, Stan+Bryan, Stan+WJ.. mainly these few. Mariel tried going up on Stanley and WJ too, but apparently she went to grab Stan's hair and kind of pulled it. OUCH! x.O Don't know what, ladida, but Stuart joined us halfway, and then we (cait, moi, wj, stan, stuart) played truth or dare. i wasn't so unlucky! x) After that us (wj, stanley, moi) went to Mac. I meddled with Stan's phone (and he realised on the mrt that i changed my contact name (coz he saved as YuJia)) and also with Wj's phone (gallery and calender). Oh yes, on the way walking there I suddenly found that a small percentage of Stanley's behavious is very similar to JiaQing's... No, honestly, yes... *
Btw, so cheer rawks. Lubb lubb. James coming tmr, hopefully. Somehow it reminds me of the topic I wanted to post about long ago. Once, on my way walking from one side of the concourse to the other early morning when I just reached school, I was scanning on what the FiboCheerleaders were doing... First I saw Theo and Altron training early in the morning on the track with weights.. then I passed by Tiffany telling her friends about whatever we'd done for cheer prac on the day before as it was pretty tiring, and saw both Gnia & Jo sleeping against the pillar and on the floor (since we were all tired lol), Eunice talking to someone, Bryan doing his homework (as always), Angie reading the Jap book gor lent her or something... typical day of cheerleaders...

--11:47pm-- Another blog post on how today was. Morning... tired. Due to yesterday's cheer practice. But the journey to school was normal, just that I closed my eyes for majority of the bus ride, and even walking up to the concourse.
I wanted to wake up at 4:30am to re-read my CiYuShouCe for the preparation of my upcoming Chinese Test. Apparently I was too tired.
First we headed up to the Auditorium. I was still trying to scan through some CiYu for the ZaoJu. Apparently Mrs Pang said there's going to be short celebration on Mid-autumn festival. When she says short, she really means it. A performance less than 10 mins presented by YingZhen and Charmaine. At least the school went to put up lanterns and quizzes, plus some prototype regarding Mid-Autumn festival done by the students. Surprise. But better than what I expected this school to have - NO celebration. At least they came up with something.
Anyway, on our way out of the auditorium while students from 06105 complained that it wasn't long enough to take away our Chinese Test's time, Mr. George Tan came over to look at my polo tee without my badge, while I was reading my CiYuShouCe while walking. Apparently he was peering very obviously, so I told him "Yeah yeah my badge is in my bag," and took it out at the same time. However, he replied "No, I wasn't looking at your badge, just looking at what you were reading." And so I gave a cheeky reply, "Oh, then I'll continue to read my book and not wear my badge.".
So, it was Chinese Test. Apparently I kind of gave up by the morning because I got rather demoralised that HOKK didn't test me my spelling for such a long time already. However, the revision still paid off for the test didn't seem THAT hard, except for that ridiculous comprehension. No idea what score I'll get though; hope it's much better than the previous one. However, HOKK says he'll test me spelling somewhere next week. Rdc, i'll say, because it's pointless since the test is already over.
Break. Forgot what I did. Anyway I forgot to bring my own money. T.$
Integrated Science. Meddled with some Bioplastic stuff that was pretty gross looking. I can't believe we still have to bring the petril dish home and chuck it somewhere in the freezer as an experiment. Eeuk. Oh well! And a presentation done by Stuart's group. Ms Fong went out for a while to fetch something, and so our class decided that we shall trick her. When she came back, Stuart's group presentation went to the last slide, and our class cheerfully clapped together and say "Nice presentation" or something. And Ms. Fong got tricked. oO One humorous class.
Lunch. Both Gerlynn and I borrowed some money for our lunch after Deb has happily taken up a $50 dollars note in the middle of IS lesson for us to see. xD. Then we went to the library, supposedly doing hw, but I ended up playing Gerlynn's Samsung's phone Bobby Carrot instead. Whee.
After lunch was um - Art. 3D. Glazing. Fun, in a way, crapping along with the 106 guys. -.- Who are happily happily LAME.
Yadida. After my final lesson was the AXIS project with Debra and Gerlynn. Apparently they didn't want to use the congregated cardboard so I've decided to give in to em' once in a while. :) But in the end I was the one who did the poster with Gerlynn's company. Ta-ha. x) It's pretty nice... considering it was done during the afternoon, several hours. Can't help but to like the half-deserted area on the 5th floor during late afternoon.
Oh, forgot to mention, there's this real funny part when we needed paint for our poster. So we popped into the 2D art class, looking for PHS to borrow paint (i think he was thinking ger and i are trying to play some trick on him or something) but in the end we got Blue, Red, Yellow paint from Stanley. And we kind of erm.. heh.. had some fun with our poster and heh.. used our fingers with to paint to write a "thankyou letter" to Stanley. And a hardened toothbrush as a gift of appreciation. xD.
At approximately 5pm or so (when Gerlynn left), suddenly I heard Mira's, then Gnia's, then Jo's voice coming from *somewhere*. And then I realised that we're having cheer prac at the empty spot outside level 2 hall. o.O GaAh. Forgot to mention that when I ran into the classroom midway while thinking of an idea for the poster (at around 3pm+) I literally screamed when Uncle told me 2nd part of Neopets plot is out. Haha. Coz I was waiting for it all day.
Then blah blah blah, 6pm and I went down for cheer prac, apparently the latest punctual person. >< And James came. Hooray~! Gnia said he wasn't. Thought he changed his mind again since he replied yes when I asked him if he's coming to teach us tday. And today we've learnt something fun. Apparently he commented that the guys aren't strong enough so there's this guy-lift-girl thingo when I'm partnered with Benjamin. And half Stanley, coz Tricia ain't anywhere around.

*sniff* I think I'm about to really cry already. The post which was pretty long that I've typed was unable to be recovered when the there was some live update that restarted my computer without me realising. My carelessness, but I was just talking about how demoralising today was and here a new incident happened that make me even more demoralised. Sigh.

Welcome once again to my blog, all readers. This will be one demoralising blog post. All so the short little point shall be mentioned... *
There is this Norton Anti-Virus warning that has been coming to pop out ever 5 seconds each time I close it, driving me mad as I can't even minimize it. In the end i dragged the whole pop up to the bottom of my page, covering a portion of my toolbar. Oh well. *
Chinese Spelling. Stupidly freaked. And not because of the spelling, but because I NEVER had a chance to even TAKE it. And I've been studying ever since last tuesday, in other words I've been studying and forgetting for >7 days. Spelling was suppose to be on Friday, but apparently more than half the class did not study and it got postponed to upcoming Monday. Fine. And I even stayed up until 2am on Friday. Monday. Missed it again as there was an important discussion with Mr. Ku. Fine. Tuesday. Supposely make-up spelling. Absent. Wednesday. HOKK wants to change the paper, so I'm taking the spelling tomorrow after the Test paper. Stupid and silly enough. The reason why I want to take the spelling was because of preparation for the test, but apparently he wants me to take the spelling after the test. Might as well don't give me! %$@!*# *
English. I completed and submitted the quiz (regarding gf/bf stuff) to Miss Sim, but apparently she claims she didn't received it. Like, wtf. It's not the first time this is happening to me. Furthermore, Ms Sim refuse to believe that I have completed my hw. Can't the teachers keep the students ws in place? So I redid the quiz anyway. hell. *
Geography. Missed the test yesterday as I was absent. Gerlynn told me something like Ms Chen posting on espace "If you are absent then you don't need to take the test once and for all" or soemthing, so apparently I didn't study for my totally unexpected test. So I had a 5 seconds warning that I am taking my Geography test, quite a distance outside the classroom near the lift somewhere at the 5th floor with tables and chairs which she claims she "can" see me from where she is. Bloody hell again. *sry for the sad little vulgarities. betta than stuart in any case.* It was a totally bad choice. Students going in and out of the lift, waiting for the lift, passing by the lift was making a whole lot of noise. Genevieve (or however you spell your name) even say she want to see my geography test and I almost screaming at her saying THIS IS A TEST. With the everlasting distractions and noise, without any revision, and without any sense of what time it is unless you want me to read the shadows, I'll be lucky if I can score a double digit mark for my test. (over 25.) * Just unlucky. Sigh. *
[[Neopets]] wootz. New plot approaching! I'm hoping it's a war plot, just like jean and uncle boonsiong. But, that led to inflation. bad bad inflation on battledome equipments. Just like how the Psellias Fighting Fanwhich I wanted to buy rose by 40k overnight. Jean frantically used BoonSiong's laptop during Free Period (after math and before geog) to buy the item before the inflation continues. Apparently I can't buy the Psellias Fighting Fanas I'm not wanting the amount of NPs in my account to drop below 1mil, furthermore 300k is with uncle. haha. so anyone who would like to get me something awesome, just chuck out 200k from your Neopets Bank account.
